Wildly Beautiful

I always knew my neighborhood was beautiful but seriously this was breath taking...  I rushed back home and grabbed my camera... I have never moved so fast. With things like this you never know when it will be gone. I couldn't pass up getting a couple pictures. Honestly the pictures don't do justice. Its one of those things that only happen every so often. Seeing that made getting up so early worth it. Its one of those things where you sit there and cant help but thank God for all your blessings. I'm so glad I got to witness it. God is good.

Christmas Day 2015

I have been thinking a lot about Mary and the great role she played.  I have a very special place in my heart for Mary. When I think of Her tears come to my eyes. I cant imagine what it would have felt like to have such joy in being able to be the mother of Christ but also the heartbreak she had to go through when she witnessed her son on the cross. The journey was long for her, but im positive she has a very special place in Heaven. I look up to not only Christ for what he did but also Mary for the sacrifices she made. Christmas time is a great time to ponder all that happened. My heart is truly full.

 Christmas day we wake up and have a great big southern breakfast! We grew up going to the south every summer for a family reunion because that's where my grandpa is from. Its only fitting to eat biscuits and gravy..and of course grits Christmas morning.  My mom is the best at cooking southern food. After breakfast we enjoy time together, crank the Christmas music, and open presents.I love my family and cherish the time we get to spend together. This year we also had our cousin Eric with us. This Christmas was one for the books.

Christmas Eve 2015

 I always look forward to spending Christmas Eve with my moms family. We eat Chinese food, read the story of Christs birth, review the year, set goals, and this year the kids put on a piano recital. It was so much fun. Being with little kids on Christmas Eve make it 10 times more special. I love how excited they get. After we go to my aunts house we go home, open our secret Santa gifts, and put Pjs on. The best part of this whole Christmas was the fact that all of us were together for the first time in almost 7 years. It was so nice. Obviously a very special Christmas I will always cherish.
