Lindsey's Baby Shower

Lindsey's baby shower was so cute! We are all so excited for her to have her baby. Its about time there was another baby girl in the family! We really got to spoil her and I loved every second of it! Getting to shop for baby clothes is probably one of my favorite things and I don't get to do it as much as I would like. So any excuse to go shopping for tiny clothes.. ill take it!

Drives with my sissy

I had to drive to Grand Junction and back for work. I didn't want to make the drive alone so Sarah decided to come with me. After making it to Grand Junction we were super tired.. SO Instead of going straight through back to Denver.. we decided to stop in the Hot Springs. It was a lot of fun. We rode to the top of the mountain and walked around and looked at the lights. It started to get really cold so we were going to head back to the hotel, but the zip line looked super fun so I forced Sarah to come with me. It was so dark and suer high up but the view of the city below us was so pretty. It ended up being so fun! It was totally worth it. After the ride we were SO cold..like freezing! So, we headed back to the hotel and watched Fixer upper the rest of the night.. haha its probably our favorite show. It was such a good weekend. I love getting to spend time with my family!

Wildly Beautiful

I always knew my neighborhood was beautiful but seriously this was breath taking...  I rushed back home and grabbed my camera... I have never moved so fast. With things like this you never know when it will be gone. I couldn't pass up getting a couple pictures. Honestly the pictures don't do justice. Its one of those things that only happen every so often. Seeing that made getting up so early worth it. Its one of those things where you sit there and cant help but thank God for all your blessings. I'm so glad I got to witness it. God is good.

Christmas Day 2015

I have been thinking a lot about Mary and the great role she played.  I have a very special place in my heart for Mary. When I think of Her tears come to my eyes. I cant imagine what it would have felt like to have such joy in being able to be the mother of Christ but also the heartbreak she had to go through when she witnessed her son on the cross. The journey was long for her, but im positive she has a very special place in Heaven. I look up to not only Christ for what he did but also Mary for the sacrifices she made. Christmas time is a great time to ponder all that happened. My heart is truly full.

 Christmas day we wake up and have a great big southern breakfast! We grew up going to the south every summer for a family reunion because that's where my grandpa is from. Its only fitting to eat biscuits and gravy..and of course grits Christmas morning.  My mom is the best at cooking southern food. After breakfast we enjoy time together, crank the Christmas music, and open presents.I love my family and cherish the time we get to spend together. This year we also had our cousin Eric with us. This Christmas was one for the books.
